APPLICATIONS

Cooling: Cooling capacity is 132,000 Btu/hr at 100° F DB and 76°F WE entering air to the evaporator coil. The unit is designed for operation and ambient temperatures up to 115°F (46°C).

IMPAC: Rated conditioned air delivery is 1800 CFM at 12” W.G. external static pressure.

ENGINE: Performance ratings are based on 1750 RPM engine speed.

The Model  TRAC 50-D-SB has been used to provide spot cooling for:

• Maintenance and overhaul functions at refineries, dock yards, airports, etc.

• On-sight cooling for construction workers, pipeline welders, underground telephones and cable repairmen, etc.

• Emergency cooling of buildings in event of primary air conditioner failure.

• Temperature cooling wherever required

Prime Mover: GM Detroit Diesel 3-53 series engine complete with; air filters; oil filter; oil pressure, fuel pressure and water temperature safety switched; solenoid shut-off; constant speed governor; muffler; alternator with voltage regulator; 12 volt electric start system; battery; air cooled radiator with anti-freeze coolant factory supplied; 40 gallon fuel tank and electric fuel pump. 

Refrigeration System: Contains a direct drive, serviceable compressor; condenser coil; evaporator coil; liquid receiver; drier-strainer; sight glass; thermostatic expansion valve; pressure regulating valves; high and low pressure safety switches; hot-gas by-pass temperature regulating system; and all necessary inter-connection piping with insulation as required. Unit is shipped with a full charge of R-22 refrigerant in the system or other optional refrigerant.       

Control Panel: The operator´s control panel is equipped with a micro-adjust throttle; start-stops buttons; tachometer; hour-meter; oil pressure gage; water temperature gage; fuel gage; ammeter; ignition key-switch and emergency stop button.

Cabinet: Unit is enclosed in a cabinet constructed of 12 gage steel of welded unitized construction supported with structural angles and beams. The cabinet is treated, primed and painted with air dry enamel paint on all interior and exterior surfaces. Bottom of the cabinet is treated with corrosion and abrasion protective material. Expanded-metal safety guards are installed around rotation equipment. Adequate access doors are provided to allow for ease of maintenance and repair functions.

Ducts: Four lengths of insulated flexible ducting of 12” diameter and 15´ length each complete with interconnection couplings. Duct to be stored in storage cabinet built into unit cabinet.

Running Gear: Consisting of tandem axle;  multi-leaf-spring suspension; mechanical parking brake on rear wheels with over-center adjustable lever control; steerable front wheels with lunette-eye hitch on towbor; heavy-duty pneumatic tires; safety chains and tie-down rings.
