EXPLOSION PROOF CONDITIONERS 

 

Designed especially to meet the exact requirements of explosion proof specifications,  the SAC-EP air  conditioning units incorporate the  highest quality standards of air conditioning  Materials  and fabrications methods.

IMPAC´s explosion-proof  air conditioners provide  the design flexibility  of our standard  SAC equipment  while meeting  the explosion-proof requirements up to and including Class 1, Division 1, Hazardous Conditions

Units are available in self-contained and split configurations.

Evaporator and condensing sections  are available with different Hazardous Locations classifications.

Model SAC-FM-15-EP-S Self contained  explosion  proof  flange  mounted air conditioner.

Notes:

1. All models  are available in  free standing  (FS), horizontal (H), slid mounted (SM), or flange mounted (FM) configurations. Dimensional data  will be supplied  in  receipted of specifications.

2.  AIR QUANTITY – CFM  At sea level  & External  Static Pressure of 0.5” water gauge.

3.  COOLING CAPACITY – Tons of refrigeration at ambient conditions indicated (one ton refrigeration  is equal to 12,000 BTU per hour cooling capacity) Cooling capacity  based on air entering at 80ºF dry bulb and 67ºF wet bulb with air quantity as indicated in chart.

4. POWER REQUIRED – Most units  are available  in 208, 220  230,  380, 440 volt, single or three phase, 50 or 60 cycle power.
for single phase, 115 volts,  units available up to 3HP.

5. Class 1 units  are available only in 3 phase models  
SAC –( )-72-EP and larger

6. for larger capacities than shown, consult factory.

7.  High temperature   SAC-EP units are available, for special order, which will deliver  their rated  capacity  @ 125ºF. Standard  SAC-EP  units will operate satisfactory in ambients up to 115ºF but at reduced capacities.
