The RAC series air conditioner is designed for the electronics industry. This special-purpose air conditioner is suitable for use in shelters, vans and other locations where electronic equipment is used and heating is required.

The cabinet is built in the same configuration as a standard 19” electronic rack. This feature allows the RAC unit to blend into a row of electronic cabinets of all types, while providing cooling, heating and dehumidification with a minimum of floor space.

The standard RAC air conditioner is available in 4 capacities and 2 cabinet arrangements. Condenser air inlet and outlet openings can be located on wither side (see top photo) for mounting at the end of a row -or- in the rear, for mounting in the center of a row of racks.

Utilizing all-aluminum construction, the RAC Series Air Conditioners are rugged, lightweight military units capable of withstanding combat use. They can provide voth heating and cooling and are available for use on 50, 60 or 400 cycle power supplier, as ordered.

Notes:

1. One ton of refrigeration is equal to 12,000 BTU per hour cooling capacity.

2. Cooling capacity is based on air entering unit at 80° F dry bulb and 67° F wet bulb with air quantity as indicated on chart.

3. Electrical power and cooling capacities are for estimating only. Consult factory for our specific recommendations on your requirement.
